Engine starts then quits, happens occasionally then after sitting for awhile it will start sometimes!! It happens very intermittently. 2009 Venza V-6 AWD Thanks Brian

Same issue. Everyone says it's the maf sensor or the battery but unplugging the maf doesn't change anything and eventually it just works again for a while so I doubt the battery is the issue . Wish someone would figure it out

2009 toyota venza air conditioning blows room temp air

If it works sometimes but not others, the most common faults are overheating components (AC clutch, control relays, ) pressure problems (high or low pressure or sensors reading too high or low after they are on for awhile), or defective blend door or temp control system. AC isnt complicated. It really hasnt changed much at all in 20 years, and didnt change for 50 years before that aside from what refrigerant is put in. the theory hasnt changed. If you mechanic was checking condensers for leaks, and didnt find them, Id suggest someone more skilled at AC work. Condensers are NEVER EVER intermittent problems. They leak, or they plug solid. Neither condition comes and goes. Your problem is in system pressures, or electrical control, or clutch. Period.

Venza remote keyless entry problems

I have the 2010 Toyota Venza push to start. I lost the original key, so i bought a new key with the remote and its was programmed successful but this remote only had the three buttons on it, instead of four buttons ( Including the Hutch button). So i bought another new remote with the four buttons today and I want to know if it will work when i switch the programmed key into the new remote?

The hand brake light indicator

Check the switch under the handbrake lever, it may be out of alignment or broken or it may have a wire shorting out which is causing the dash light to stay on.

We bouth few months ago Toyota Venza 2010 and had few times problems opening my car with teh keyless remote control. One time a guy open it for me but didn't want to start teh engine. Today we wanted

The new battery maybe defective, the battery holder maybe loose or broken, the rubber between the 2 halves of the remote maybe not inserted properly or has defect, may need re-programming, may have damaged circuit board. battery is affected by the cold and can weaken it. There is possibility of electrical trouble(s) with the car itself, but commonly it is the remote that has the problem(s).
