2001 Nissan Almera Tino Questions & Answers
2001 Nissan Almera. Hi there, where is the location of torque convertor clutch solenoid please.
Hi Micheal Lethebe, way post 3 time
one car one problem ,tranny dead.?
just add fact to the first post by clicking comments.
the pump is dead.
only why remains and I told you that on the other post.
that solenoid last, the whole transmission must work correctly before TC lock up can happen. and only in high gears.
pump bad,
pump seals bad,
pump regulator is bad and stuck wide open.
or filter top pipe not cracked, or filter fell off and pump suck\s air now. oops pump dead,. or pan dry.
you put in a new TC did you prime it first with 1qt of AFT before installing it. the 3 qts of Aft IN THE PAN TO START
THEN add fluid until dips stick goes normal.?
but if the pump is dead the TC never fills full up (remaining) running, and can not send hot AFT oil to the cooler port.
the pump is dead, focus on that
google why my A/T BOX PUMP IS DEAD,.
AND IS COMMON.
SOME HAVE PLASTIC VANES AND FAIL.
AND FOR SURE EVER RUN DRY THEY DO,.
and with a dead pump transmission damage progresses fast. $$$$$$$$$$$
pump failure can also be a massive leak deep inside the box,.
here is nice drawing of a 3sp old hyrabox. in color.
if any of the RED paths leak too much or all adding up to too much, then the pump is overloaded
yours is more complex with lots of electric solenoids.
as you cans here the cooler pipe steals AFT from the roasting HOT TC , output side, and has and orifice there. this exit point is the most hot spot.
THIS IS ONLY A WRONG TRANSMISSION HERE
i WANT YOU TO SEE HOW THE RED PATH WORKS
AND ALL WAYS THAT CAN LEAK AND FAIL.
Were is the rad fan switch on almera
Are you talking about engine radiator cooling fan?
If yes there is no switch per say, the fan is connected to a relay and gets activated by the temperature sensor of the coolant, if it is not coming on check for a blown fuse or a bad relay.
If you want to test the fan, connect the fan straight to the car 12V battery and see if it is working.
Make sure that your hands are not close at any time to the fan blades, and don't wear any kind of loose clothing and jewelery.
I just want to know connection for radio wire color coding
Black is ground red is battery yellow is accessory as far as if you are installing a new stereo the best and cleanest way is to buy an install kit since they include wiring diagrams otherwise pick up a repair manual from your local parts shop they're around $25
Sw p130
A P0130 fault is typical, and represents "02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 1)" It will NOT go away until fixed. This is not a safety issue, but an emissions related issue. Fuel economy and performance can be impacted and if allowed to persist for a long time, damage to the catalytic converter may result. Replacing a cat converter can be expensive repair. If your state does emissions testing as part of regular vehicle inspection, you will probably fail.

Faults
Try to replace your fuel pump relay. If that doesn\'t work, replace the spark plugs. If that doesn\'t work, replace your high tension leads with boogie cords.
Heater on nissan almera
That noise is the heater and AC air temperature control electric blend door motor trying to move a duct door that is sticking due to heat warping. You will need to remove the entire dash assembly and replace the blend door. This door is located between the AC core and the heater core and "blends" the air from each (hot from heater core and cold from AC core) to give the desired air temperature,.
Service warning message
Hey Derek, When did the light first come on? Was the car Driving OKay before and after the light came on? How many miles on the car? When did you change the oil last? Has your car just reached a 100,000 mile mark or 150,000 mile mark? Your ECM has detected a fault somewhere or it just BURPED and needs to be reset. I need the answers to the questions from you. In order to help you find the problem. BUT, iF THE CAR RAN FINE BEFORE AND AFTER, IT MOST LIKELY JUST BURPED & ONLY NEEDS TO RESET OF FAULT CODES. TO RESET YOUR ECM, DISCONECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE OFF THE BATTERY FOR ABOUT TWO HOURS. THEN RECONECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE BACK ON THE BATTERY TIGHT. RESTART YOUR CAR AND THE SERVICE LIGHT SHOULD BE OFF!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
Overdrive flashing in Nissan
This O.D. light flashing means that a fault has been detected in the transmission by the Transmission control module (TCM). What must be done now is to have the system scanned to see what fault codes are in the memory of the TCM. The most common cause of this to happen is slight slippage of the transmission, you may not even fell it but the computer senses it through the input and output turbine speed sensors.
