Are dash lights supposed to go out when the brake is pressed?
I don't have specalist knowledge of your particular make/model but i would say NOT .a lot of modern cars require specific wattages in the rear/brake lights so it's worth looking in your manual for the correct values and checking them. ive seen various odd behavour on a few cars because of this even a vauxhaul sri import which cut the engine everytime the brake pedal was pressed (it had a stop/tail bulb fitted when it should've beed just a single filament stop light bulb) so dash lights going out could well be somthing like that
Fan intermittently stops
If undercover surveillance people with electronic weapons are aiming at the front of your car, they might be turning off the fan. Maybe a relay is going bad. There are two or three relays involved. If that is the cooling fan for the A/C, don't run the A/C or it might burn up. I've had to lift the hood to look to see if the cooling fan was going. When my fan eventually got frozen, the hose to the radiator blew up and took the nozzle to the radiator with it. Big expense, new radiator, water pump, cooling fan, relays.

This tends to be a Fuel cap seal, when getting fuel be sure to tighten the gas cap at least three clicks. Any parts store should be able to reset the service engine light, if the light persists, remove your negative battery cable for 30 seconds with the ignition turned to the run position. replace negative battery cable and and the code should be gone. This resets your cars computer. Be aware that this also rests the Drive Learn program, and the car will take 10-15 miles to reset this, it may run a bit rough during those 10-15 miles but should clear up afterwards.
