Ign. Fuse keeps blowing.now little
When exactly does it blow? And little smoke from where, and when does it smoke? If it is the fuse that is smoking, and the fuse blows, when you turn ignition to start the vehicle, replace the ignition switch(the electrical part, not the key switch).
Overhead console not coming on
This is a common problem. There are several resistors on the display
panel's circuit board that have come loose or fallen off. You just have
to re-solder them and you might as well do them all while you have it
removed. The circuit board is located behind the display panel and you
have to remove the console completely to get at it.
The chips look like a flat silver bar about 3/8" long x 3/16" wide and have a 2-digit number like 60 or 70 on them.
WARNING! Watch out for a falling chip as you remove the console. One
might have completely fallen off of the circuit board. They are very
small and hard to find otherwise.
Here is a link to a thread with instructions to an easy fix. See post #4.

My plug and wire on
i have done both in the past. depending on the customer , parts availability and accessibility. it is mostly on you. you can get a whole new block heater and wire/plug or you can cut the old one off and solder a new one on if your replacing some of the cord to or you can just replace the plug end and that is cutting old one off and putting a replacement on and there are screw terminals with that style. please ask any more question you have.
Blowing lots of gray smoke
let sit overnite pull dip stick out an see if looks like a coffee milk shake.couldve blown a head gasket.is it gettn hotter than usual runnin temp?
My 2004 Excursion AC display
An intermittent liken that is a tough one to pin down. The main thing to do is get to as many of the plastic 'connector bodies' that have wire bundles connecting wires to the AC display. Unplug and plug back together and give the wires a 'tug test'. See if one wire is loose in the connector.
Also there is a 'grounding strap' that comes off the 'firewall' in the engine compartment, going to the engine to ground. It bonds everything for the dash to engine and system ground. Check to see that it's tight. If you need further help, I’m available over the phone at

6.0 diesel- Engine dies out
Pump or filter is most likely the culprit. A bad position sensor could cause this as well. You can test it with an ohmmeter
THE TRANS WELL DELAY THE
Hi....
My advice to you is not to drive that vehicle until you get in fixed. You may just need a mount replacement and if you continue to drive it, things will get worse and that is more money you will have to spend to get it fixed. You also may need to have your transmission replaced but more than likely it is fixable.
Just do NOT drive it!!!!
Thanks

How do you changer rear struts on a 97 Ford
Its simple to unbolt them, but then you will need to go to your locale parts house that has a loaner tool program, and get strut spring depressors, with these special tools it is no big problem,Spring depressor fits on coils of spring and will hold spring depressed while you take center nut off and change strut.
How to change fuel filter 2000 excursion
Yes it is the tool for fuel lines and ac lines. Your local autoparts store should have them, they are universal. You need to use the small end for the fuel filter.
Was the wrong trans fluid used
Merc V is correct, i would recomend motocraft, but castrol should be just fine. i would check to see that you didn't double gasket the filter, some times they can be a pai to get out.
My traction control lights on in my 2007 Ford Freestyle 3.0 and I want to know if there's a vacuum that hooks up to that where it's at
This could be two different issues. For the dash light get the vehicle plugged into an OBD scanner or a diagnostic system to check for Trouble Codes. These will give clues as to what and where the issue could be. Comment below with them and I'l try to help explain them.
Unless the problem is with the brake booster most traction control systems do not use a vacuum to operate it. It is usually a set of electronic sensors on the wheels that the ECU uses to monitor tyre grip.
As I cannot look at the car myself for that hose you will need to get a good mechanic to look at it. The vacuum hose could go to many things like the EGR system, the Turbo (if fitted) or possibly to the transmission.
