Dimmer switch is on the floor, right? remove dimmer switch and replace with new one. Probably all rusted and corroded inside, you may have blow the brake switch when you hit the dimmer, also check the wiring to both the dimmer and the brake switches.

Those are mem-cal codes, unless you changed the ECM the PROM (a separate part inside the ECM) has gone bad or the ECM itself went bad, if you just replaced your ECM with a used one you need to swap PROMS just remove the 2 screws and remove the plate then the PROMS. If this doesn't workYour best avenue is to remove the ECM then go to a parts store that sell Standard Motor Products they have an R+R program and will repair your ECM and PROM and send it back. You will need a steering wheel puller. You can borrow one from most auto parts stores. You will need to remove the horn airbag center to expose the bolt. Loosen the main steering wheel bolt till it's almost off then attach the puller. Keep tightening the puller till the steering wheel comes free.

I'm truly jealous. I thought I got lucky when I bought my 2012 Lincoln in 2017 with 57,900 original miles on it. :) I'm not 100% sure but is that old north star an aluminum block? If so, I would consult GM as to what to use to flush it with. If it was still cast iron, you could probably get away with most any flush. The one thing that I would be careful of is if the water pump is the original, try to get something that is not too corrosive to protect the old shaft and bearing seals. Some of the heavy duty over the counter flushes contain carbolic or phosphoric acid to eat the calcium and lime scale out of your radiator. This is why they used to say that Coca Cola was a good flush because it contained phosphoric and CARBONIC ACIDS. Carbonic acid being the carbon dioxide dissolved in it to give it the fizz.
