Car turned off while driving.
The loose cable sounds plausible. Since it could have lost connection and then reconnected so was able to get up again and maybe didn't notice the first time. It couldn't be a battery cable however unless it was touching something else and shoting because you dont need your battery after the vehicle is started anyway,
Problem starting
What they did was upgrade the system here try this its from Kia.
Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position. Reconnect the negative battery cable. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
4. Transmitter Programming Procedure:
1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position. Do not start the engine.
2. Locate the "disarm/programming" button which is secured to the remote start wire harness behind the left lower dash panel.
3. Press and hold the "disarm/programming" button for 10-15 seconds until the horn beeps 3 times.
4. Release the "disarm" programming button.
5. Press the red Find/Panic button on the remote start transmitter one time. The horn will beep one time indicating that the transmitter code has been learned. Repeat for each additional transmitter.
6. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.
