2012 Mercedes GLK350. I put key in ignition won't start light everything else work?

A rattling noise is rather worrying, although timing chains don't normally break when you turn off the engine. Loose Belt, sounds like the Serpentine Belt, but if that snapped, the engine would still run. I think you need a tow to the dealership.

Mercedes problems

if your cluster is mechanical, then it is not possible to change the settings. you can attempt to get a genuine cluster from Mercedes Benz by using your VIN and request for a cluster that displays KPH. However, if your cluster is Digital, or uses an LCD display, then you will need a STAR DIagnosis tool, hook it up to the car, and perform something known as SCN Coding to the cluster. There you will have the option to change it from MPH to KPH

I have unlock my A140 with the key as the remote will not work. How do I turn the alarm off, the car will start but the alarm still sounds

Unfortunately Google has little idea how your 'A140' relates to a vehicle. All Car and Trucks questions must have 'year make model'. All others must have 'make model (what it is). To get good answers, you have to ask good detailed questions. Thanks https://www.google.com/search?q=A140 ..

I have problems with front tyre wear of a mercedes A160 20l cdi .wear is on outside left and inside right tyres no matter how often i have tha steering linned

You need to have the front end checked for worn parts like ball joints or tie rod ends and if all is OK then it needs to be aligned. Use a shop that has a experienced front end alignment tech. Tire shops are good choices here.

Mercedes 1999 A160 while driving beeps and all interior lights go on? Any ideas please?

it may be some warning device as to driver alert capability ( wakes you up if tired) contact a MB service dealer and discuss the problem without engine lights and codes it is not associated with the engine and transmission so it has to be another control system

My Mercedes a160 problems. After or during rain with the water on the road the car will have an engine shutter and slows right down and then cuts out,

This sounds electrical in nature.have you inspected underneath and inside engine bay for trailing or bare or cracked cables.water is ingressing onto part of the electric system.could be anything from the ignition such as ht leads ....cooling such as electric fan.... Alternator....battery.check every where for loose ...frayed or bare wiring.you may have lost a splash tray that was removed during servicing or water may even be finding its way through front grill straight onto part of ignition system.lastly the ecu will record most events and log them as error codes which can be read at a local garage and reveal what may really be going on.unfortunaely some garages charge a fee whereas you might find a local one who will not.

MERCEDES A CLASS 160. I PLUGED AN EXTERNAL HEATING WHILE THE CAR ENGINE WAS NOT RUNNING AND 20 MINS LATER, THE RADIO STOPPED AND ALL THE LIGHTS, INCLUDING ON THE DASH BOARD SHUT DOWN. THE CAR DOES NOT

Have your battery tested. Most auto parts stores and other major stores that sell batteries will test it free.

Would like to know reason why Mercedes benz a160 goes switching off while driving like into a nim mode?

Limp mode is usually related to a bad speed sensor. It should also give some sort of dash light which means there is a related trouble code. Bring it to parts store and have them read the code.
