I changed the transmission fluid on my 1999 Jeep Cherokee. All i did was loosen the drain plug...drain...replace the plug...tighten and refill. Should I have done something to the drain plug to ensure a proper seal..or is just replacing the plug and tightening it enough?

No heat from any vents, all cold. condensation on outside of HVAC housing makes me think A/C is running even when the indicator light is off. Pulled drivers side door activator motor and tested the door function by hand. airflow was diverted as it should have been. so my problem is if the doors are functioning like they were meant to, I have coolant in radiator, where is the heat? I checked flow thru heater core and seemed good. where is the heat core in the housing? next step is access core by cutting plastic to check if it is even getting warm. so my question is... Exactly where is the heater core located within the housing? ...I just know someone will throw up "follow the cooling lines", so before that is said it isnt possible to follow them, at all.
