If the temperature gauge is not showing an overheating engine I would guess that either the sensor is wrong or the thermostat is stuck open. Stuck open is not as bad as stuck shut but it would mean that your car will struggle to get up to temperature. Stuck open will also increase engine wear and stop the heater working effectively. A stuck shut thermostat will stop the cooling system from working and cause overheating which potentially will destroy your engine.

You can't remove the immobilizer , it's software programmed into the computers on your vehicle . Starter relay is controlled by the computer , fuel system is controlled by the computer . Your best bet ,take it to a qualified repair shop before you make thing's worst . You have no idea what your messing with .

This may be accompanied with the power door locks not working also. You may be able to reset it by pulling the fuses in the underhood fuse relay center. The fuse or fuses that may reset the system are sitting in special holders in the relay center that have little clips on the side. They will look different from the other fuses as they have their own little holders. Pull them up and reseat them. Hope this helps

Any sensor that was on the 2005 engine should be switched over to the 2001 engine. This will make your harness plug in correctly and your computer read and communicate correctly.
