94 jimmy air control will not change from vent to floor to heater. it is always stuck on (floor and heater) at the same time! what is the cause of this? A mechanic looked at this for me and said he didn't know what it was. Also there are several vacuum hoses at the back of the engine (v-6 vortex). i notice a few of the hoses are not hooked up. I realize one if for power steering, 1 is for the 4x4 , but i am not sure what the others are, there seems to be 6 of them and 3 are not hooked up, i have hooked these up individually to see if it would control my heater right but it did not work. What is wrong with the heater switch that changes it from vent to floor to defrost?
I'm curious to know how good is the MPG on that truck.
