Question about Polaris ATV
You have a Park Brake sensor switch, but I don't believe there is a brake pedal safety switch. It sounds like your Starter Solenoid may be getting hung up, or your Starter is getting stuck. It is also possible that your Ignition Switch is worn out.
Test the switches with a multi-meter. If you find any to be bad, replacement parts can be found here:
The Park Brake sensor switch is number 17:

The part you are referring to is the neutral safety switch or as Ford calls it the transmission range sensor. This is farily easy to replace and it is on the side of the transmission. It is held on by two 8mm bolts. Just put your transmission in N and take the switch off. Line up the N on the new switch and install it and bolt it up. Now you're done! I'm posting a pic of the part to further assist you.
On the transmission (driver side I believe) there will be a sensor mounted on the side with a cable running to it. This is called the Transmission Range Sensor or also the Neutral Safety Switch. It is possible that this has failed or the transmission shift cable that connects to it is stretched or damaged.
