Question about Polaris ATV
That is called a REV LIMITER. Its there to make sure you dont go too fast in reverse due to it being slightly more complicated to steer. They put the override button on there in case you DO want to go faster. Its pretty much standard on all quads. Similar to how low a regualr car is geared when in reverse. I hope this helped!
