I have a 2003 Yamaha Big Bear 400 4x4. When I try to start it from the "Button" all I get is a "Buzzing" sound under the seat. I tried to jump start it and it does the same thing. It will start if I use the pull cord. Does this sound like just the battery or the relay switch?

I have a Yamaha big bear 350 4x4 I put new cv axis on both front still make grinding sound

If the CV Joints are new and correctly inserted, the most likely culprit for the noise would be the brakes. Remove the front wheels and turn the hub.

It could also be the front differential, or failed wheel bearings. Details in the link.

I have a 203 Yamaha big bear 400 4x4. The electric start will not turn over the starter. There is a buzzing sound when u press the starter switch. What is next?

...Have your batteries CCA checked...(Cold Cranking Amps) at a battery store, autozone, oreilly's, etc... THIS (CCA) is the true measure of your battery...amperage is what makes the starter turn..NOT voltage.. (amperage pushes voltage)...

02 Big Bear 400- Hi-idle & backfires while running. Tried cleaning carb & air filter, drained bowl & cleaned with carb cleaner. Could there be aproblem with the choke.

Sounds like the carb could use a cleaning and setting by a professional...install a new plug and a new air filter.. AFTER the professional carb cleaning and setting.,,do this and repost
