My klf 300 quad was overcharging i changed the regulater box good job but has started clunking and overcharging again after 6 months

Have a 1996 Kawasaki klf 300 quad will run fine but when driven clatters and usually cuts out any ideas please?

sorry not enough information. Does it always cut out? Does it clatter under load? where does the clatter appear to come from? Does the clutch engage smoothly?

Kawasaki klf 300 not generating spark

check you coils and pick up i have had to replace the pick up on those little klf alot

Where is the chassis number on my klf 300 please

Should be on the upright frame or on the flat frame section behind the left front tire

My batery is geting 18 volts of charge

take your alternator off and have your local auto zone or advance test it!! Sounds like it is forcing through the regulator and over loading the battery
