To take the whole starter off you will need a three hole flywheel puller fro the right side and a drive cluth puller for the right side fix time is around 2.5 hours

This is Incorrect. ...You need a Polaris Clutch Removal Tool Part No. 2870506 to remove the primary drive clutch from the left side of the engine. The secondary clutch only requires the bolt to be removed. Then the rest of the primary belt cover can be unbolted to access the 2 rear starter bolts. The recoil start has to be removed to access the 2 front starter bolts, but it's not necessary to remove the flywheel. The starter can be removed (somewhat difficult unless you tip the machine straight upwards) without pulling the clutch but it's pretty difficult to find and remove the 2 rear starter bolts without the access provided by removing the clutches and primary clutch/ belt cover. Good luck.

My 1999 Polaris 250 trailblazer has no spark please help

Probably the ECM, if you have a good, charged battery, spark plug, wiring is not damaged, and kill switches are in "run".

I have a polaris trailblazer 250 and I had to pull start it a few times. Finally bought a new battery and installed it. Still won't start. Any ideas???

Sounds like the most common ATV problem, carburetor. Since you have to take it apart anyway, get a rebuild kit with new float and throttle spring. Ensure you replace the keeper clip on the needle valve on the same groove for the throttle. Don't mix up the primary and secondary jets, and be careful about bending the float arm... support it without using the float itself as a gripping place as the arm will break off. (Motorcycle shops have a special tool for doing this and can get it very accurate.) Write down the mixture measurements (number of screws turns) so you have a place to start from... use 1/8 screw turns until the engine just skips a little bit when idling... it will smooth out when adding throttle. The choke is intended to be used when starting. Check any fault codes and instrument lights.

I have,a polaris trailblazer 250. I had to pull start it because it seemed the battery was bad. Bought and installed a new battery and, still won't start. Any ideas....

If it will not spin over, check for battery voltage to the starter. If there is 12 volt to the battery connection on the starter while the start button is being pressed then the starter has gone bad. If there is not any voltage to the starter while pressing the start button, check for blown fuses and the starter solenoid, usually under the seat near the battery, and starter relay, also near the battery.

Wiring polaris trail blazer 250 diagram

There are several places you can go on the web that have free atv repair/owners manuals. The owners manuals usually have a wiring schematic on or towards the last page also trouble shooting diagrams with instruction in them.

Type in your search bar: atv polaris (year) model:trailblazer/500cc.
If you like email: with specs and I will email it to you.
