Question about Polaris ATV
Take off the wheel. Take off the large hub nut. Unbolt either the upper or lower a-arm (which ever is easier) from the bearing hub. Now slide the outer axle end out of the bearing hub. The inner axle end should easily unplug from the gear case with gentle prying. To replace the outer boot you have to take off the inner boot first, remove the clip inside the cup , and slide the bearing out. Remove the external circlip that holds the bearing on and slide the bearing off. remove the old boots by sliding them off the axle. Reassemble in reverse order . You may need a special tool for installing the boot clamps.
