Hi, Marcos for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. What would cause my yfz 450 not too have any electric power at all, no lights come on , tried to jump the selanoid n all it does is crank over but doesnt it start??? Any idea why or what the problem is???

There is a good possibility that your main fuse is blown. The main fuse is located on the solenoid. There also should be a spare fuse that is stored on the solenoid, however, if it's blown, something has shorted to cause this, and needs to be found. An important note, if the battery has been hooked up with the polarity reversed, that will blow the main fuse.

There's also a possibility of a bad connection at that fuse, or in the plug that connects the solenoid to the harness. If this is the case, it would just need a little cleaning, or replacement of the whole solenoid.

When i go to hook my new battery up for my 2005 yfz 450 tries to start while the are engine switch and key are in the off position why is it doing that

Your starter solenoid is shorted by something or stuck in the start position. Try tapping it if you see no wires shorting it closed. they usually break free pretty easily.

How do i remove and clean the carburetor on a 2005 Yamaha YFZ 450? i could not find my model .but it is a 2005 YFZ 450v

The easiest way is to remove the seat and then remove the entire rear sub-frame - the airbox is attached to the subframe, so it will go with the subframe. Loosen the rear clamp on the intake boot. The sub-frame is only held on by three bolts so it's a piece of cake to remove.

Once the subframe is off, the carb will be wide open and easy to remove from there.
