My quad has no power in reverse what can the problem be? i changed the angle sensor and reset the computer.

dont know but computer ,shouldnt matter motor runs 1 way ,make sure its fully in rev , check wire to rev solenoid if it has one ,sory im not familiar with this ,let us know i think it might have a limiter when in rev ,you know how hard and complicating they are now days, and call it for safety.

2008 polaris 800 sportsman touring wont engage in 4x4 high without holding in the override button

try this first right beside the reverse button u will see 2 sets of wires clipped into the control be careful and pull these 2 apart u will see they will be all corroded up clean them up and dielectric them see if that works its a easy fix maybe

if that doesnt work try this...

I replaced the speed sensor, got my speedo operation back, no more intermittent 4x4 issues, and no more stalling in reverse! It's actually quite annoying how many things are tied into that one sensor. Makes for a frustrating trip out of the bush if it starts acting up on the trail (like mine did). Good luck with your repairs!

Rev limiter

The C.D.I. box(ignition module) controls how high the R.P.M. of the engine go.depending on what kind of machine that you ride,i have seen some aftermarket C.D.I. boxes that do not have a rev limiter.

It does have a rev limiter which helps to keep the engine from damaging effects. YOu will be able to rev until a certain amount of RPMs are reached, and then you will hear the engine decelerate.
