Retrace you steps when you did the replacement of the belt. You might have disconnected or cut a major wire!

Yamaha Grizzly 03-660. Why doesn't it start?

If you look at the picture - 29, 30 & 31 are the starter relay, main fuse and probably the bolt that holds it to the frame. When that fuse blows or that relay goes out - it's over. Not going to start. If you have a standard test light - attach the clip end to ground (frame of atv) and then put touch the postivie post of the battery to verify that the light is functional. It will light up if the battery is good. Next -follow the red cable to the starter relay in the diagram. Where it attaches - check for power. With the key off. IT should be live without the key in. It's on standby in a way. If you do not have power at the other end of your positive cable - your cable is shot. If you do - then you will have someone turn the key and check to see if power is coming from the other post off the relay (that would go to the starter and make it engage - if the square standard fuse in that relay is not blown - but power is not coming through when you touch the key - it's probably the relay. Your safety switch among other things can prevent the engine from starting as well - along with loose cables and grounds (always do a thorough check of all wire connections and grounds - one loose ground can mean a nightmare sometimes) - if you give that a try and do not identify the culprit - just comment or reach out and I'll take you through the next steps. Will not crank over to start and nothing electrical works. Just installed a new battery. What can cause this problem? It was working fine when parked 3 weeks ago.

Test the battery with a voltmeter, if good, check connection to battery. Has to have a real good ground.

I had a weak battery but charger on it.I think I must have charged it with to many amps. Now the lights don't work except the reverse light and battery does not hold a charge. Where do I go from here?

Look for a bad fuse or bad connection on the wiring that feeds power to your front lights. Also check for a bad ground.

Until you find fix you can always splice a wire into the hot rear light wire and connect it to your front lights.

The is no power to the ignition dash lights head lights, winch but will pull start

First check the positive cable at battery and at the starter relay that the positive wire usually goes to. Somewhere right around there should be a fuse - that fuse goes out and your ignition system is kaput - pull start or nothing. If nothing at all happens - more than likely your fuse or what...yamaha had them on a lot of the 90s - 00s bikes - it was called a starter cut-off relay - it was a small black box wired in right by the postive cable where it goes to starter relay. Also check your ground cable at battery and where it goes to engine, usually. if all that checks out - let me know your year, make & model and if I have the tech info I can tell you where to start and how to troubleshoot - all the best

I have 2004 arctic cat 650 twin 4 wheeler and battery went dead due to no water in several cells in battery so I refilled with DI water and now cranks great but won't run almost like belt light prob

Hi Jasper:
Have you tried jump starting from another vehicle?
It may be that your battery is just not putting out enough amps.
RV and motorcycle batteries tend to not last as long as car batteries.

04 Polaris predator, I bought used last week. I put a new battery and new carb on it. It doesn't have power, won't start, and no spark with kick starter. Dead. Fuses, wires, look good. Any ideas

Did it have compression before you bought it?
No power to the electric starter? Then you probably have no power to the ignition system. I'd check battery connections. Is the battery going flat overnight? Some shorts. Is there an ignition with a key? Is the switch good? or all the connections good? Corrosion does some funny things. Fuses may look good but actually are not.
