I have 2012 Polaris ranger 500. It will run and then just die. It is very hard to start again. My injector will spray fuel then just stop. It this a bad injector or something else causing that?

Only if it is an electric fuel pump... does the pump have wires attached... its doubtful that it is electric... the fuel pump is probably a vacuum operated pump (uses the vacuum created by the engine running).. Not that familiar with that particular model.. electrical fuel pumps on atv..etc.. are rare.. I have never seen one!!

Chould be your CDI box. It's the same as a computer on a car.

Sounds like the jets are cloged up you will need to pull off the bole and clean the pre jet and you shuld be fine

Sounds like a fuel system delivery issue! Have a professional clean the fuel system and clean and set the carb. A new or CLEAN AIR FILTER is required.

if its a black smoke its running rich. check your air filter and air tube for clogs. something may have made a nest in there.

Sounds like the carb,has it been check after its test and tune ?
