Most of the time i have found on the polaris machines the key switch itself fails. has a replacement key switch been tried?

follow ur throttle cable down to cars there should be a plastic screw close to cable to adjust idea but with polaris that screw can be hard to find with all the plasticc they put in way but if u can see carbs easy enough u will see the idle screw

If it is a 2 stroke pull the carb off and look at the reeds u might have a broke reed

Testimonial: "Its doesn'thave reed valves, its self oilier but its bbeen disconnected since I had it I just mix it my self but ya the carb just fits right on jug with the a rubber tube my 95 had reeds though thanks for trying"
maybe the battery is ok but the problem is a lock in the engine --hydraulic lock, crank seizure ,bent conrod
bent valve hitting on piston top

If engine does not turn over you need to see if the starter is getting power and if it is any good. Also look for an inline safety switch for the starter that may be stuck in the open position and not allowing the electricity to enter the starter motor.
