Question about ATVs

Open Question

2012 Arctic cat 500 TRV . I had to replace the belt at 1500 km just recently.

When doing so I noticed all the weights in the clutch had flat spots all the slides in the clutch blew apart. I did notice prior to the belt letting go it always felt like the brake was dragging a bit. When a put it all back together new clutch and belt it worked smoothly. After a couple hundred km on the new belt it seems like I'm dragging a brake again.

SOURCE: arctic cat snowmobile problems

yes but I would also suspect the carbs we not cleaned fully. main jets and emulsion tubes as well as the idle air circuit... these all are important for proper operation. you will need to pull the idle mixture screws out as well.... if they are plugged from the factory you need to drill into them and use an easy out to remove them

SOURCE: I was riding my arctic cat 580 ext efi 1995 .. When I hint a bump and the rear suspention dropped ... Flat ... How can I raze it back to where ther suspention is suppost to be at .. What happen . Why

It sounds like you either broke a suspension support, or the shock has collapsed. It could also be that you broke a spring. Most likely a suspension mounting point has broken. You are going to have to flip it on it's side so you can inspect the entire suspension mounting assembly. Without a full inspection it could be speculated all day and not come up with an answer.
