I have a 2010 Polaris Sportsman 300. When in gear you really have to give it a lot of gas to get it to move. I have changed the oil and filter and it seems to be getting worse. Any suggestions?

Old fuel, dirty carb jets. Low fuel level in carb. Has it been sitting up? Check air filter and plug.

Yes you can use 10/40w or 20/50w with out any problems. The manufactures will tell you only to use what they suggest. But other oils will work fine. Don't waste your money on their suggested over priced oils.

when changing oil usually you change the oil filter and there is a drain plug for the oil to out...i don't know bout the reservoir your talking about,,

sounds like the coil is weak or the electronic spark box is goin fuel filter been changed ?right gap on the Plugs? need more imfo on it to do more thks

Check to make sure the proper rated fuse is installed. If so, then sounds like you have a dead short and I'm not a Polaris or electrical expert to really show how to troubleshoot that far into it. Good luck!
