This is an expensive piece of equipment. Bring it back to Leslies or wherever you bought it from and get your money back. Polaris has been in business for many years, they will back up any problems there products have.

I tipped over my Rincon atv and it won't start.

Hey Deav,
If you have fuel injection, I think you do have a "tip-over" or angle switch..(they will keep running upside down)..IF NOT - Sounds like you may have filled the engine with gas and possibly flooded the air filter also.....- when you tip it over, there is nothing to stop the fuel from flowing through the carburetor vent systems and into the intake tract (engine and air filter).. when this happens it floods so bad you have to remove the air filter and spark plug.. then spin the motor over.. make sure the air filter is clean and dry..
... Install a new spark plug..

02 Kawasaki prairie fires but wont stay running. Please help.

You've got spark to get it to fire, but not enough air or fuel to keep it running. When you are starting the engine, your carburetor makes the fuel mixture richer, by reducing the amount of air in comparison to the amount of fuel it's sending to the engine (that's the "choke"). Then, when it's running the motor's vacuum rebalances the mixture to normal and that's when you conk out. Chances are it's a fuel delivery issue, without that choke the mixture goes too lean (not enough fuel).

You've probably been running standard gas with 10% ethanol. I have found that on older ATV's (like my 98 Honda), especially if the ATV sits for a month or two unused, ports in the carb clog with the residue from ethanol and it needs to be cleaned.

Unfortunately, you can't just spray something in the intake of the carb, you have to remove it and spray the cleaner into numerous ports in the carb and preferably blow them out with compressed air. If you're mechanically inclined, it's pretty easy, and costs almost nothing. However, ethanol also attacks rubber parts used in earlier carbs, possibly like yours, and that can mean replacing a couple parts, but rarely anything expensive.

ENGINE BOOGS DOWN DURING EXCELLERATION, NEW FUEL PUMP, NEW AIR CLEANER,NEW FUEL FILTER,NEW CARBURATOR. RUNS GOOD FITHOUT AIR INTAKE TUBE AND FILTER

Your carburetor is not tuned correctly, take it to a shop and have them adjust the jets, mainly the pilot jet. If you know which one that is, you can try 1/8 turn adjustments to see if it improves, but you may do more harm than good.

2006 arctic cat wont start

If you've got decent compression, spark and fuel and it wont run - what about about air? Clean / new air filter installed? All 4 are needed to run.

Why cant anyone answer questions about this hawkeye atv

Have you checked the Spark Plug ? No Spark & No Fuel means not going to start and run. If you are getting fuel then your Spark plug may need to be cleaned or replaced or even re-gaped. Spark plugs have a tendency to get fouled out. Meaning oil gets on it and it can not throw a good spark. If you do have a good spark then check the choke and or the float in the carb.

Thanks for allowing my in-put!

Bombardier traxter 500,flooding at idle

if your air filter is clogged or your air intake is otherwise restricted it\'ll cause the carb to suck up too much fuel and flood.

150 cc will not fire up

pull spark plug, lay it on engine while still connected and hit starter and see if any spark at plug. if so fuel issue,if sat for any lengthy period of time, pull carb. float bowl and clean bad fuel and resadew, unscrew brass looking jet and make sure clear,{should be able to blow air thru} ensure battery has full charge and should fire.
