Sounds like it was stripped on or really tight. I worked on a 2002 a few weeks ago. There is no easy fix. It must be removed, it must be re-threaded and if drilled out the shaving will cause considerable additional damage & cost. Short of being lucky you may need to replace the plug & housing & that housing was over $300 for DIY. Good luck. Maybe you can drill holes in the plug for a spanner tool. You Can fill the holes with JB Weld later. Then re-tap the threads. Be sure to remove the casing & clean everything out. If the shavings get into the stator mechanism you won't be happy. Good luck.

SOURCE: Automatic - overheating blowing coolant

Most likely the thermostat is sticking. Get the system flushed (get that rusty liquid out of the system), replace the thermostat & put in new coolant. Should fix it.

SOURCE: engine blowing oil from oil filler cap

I had the same problem. I changed the pcv valve and checked the hose. It still did the same thing. Then I checked the metal tubing that the hose connects to and found it was full of hardened gunk. I sprayed PB Blaster into the tube let it soak for awhile. Then took an old choke cable, put it on a drill and ran it into the tube like a drain snake. It took a while of doing this over and over but eventually got it cleared out. Now, no more oil all over the engine and hood compartment.

SOURCE: engine is whistling loudly, and stops if i remove

I would have the converter checked for back pressure. if it is plugged it can cause excessive Engine pressure. if it is not plugged then you have excessive blow by or a malfunctioning PCV system it sounds like.

sounds like the switch may be shorted, or a wire(s) have shorted to one another.... Find the plastic connector for the switch and unplug it... it should not fire.. if it does.. maybe someone has hot wired it??? ... BE CAREFUL!!

gas in the oil is usually caused by a bad carb float or float needle

The starter engages and starts the motor fine when the motor is cold. however if you ride and try to restart the starter just spins and you can only start using the kick stater.

I have an 2007 arctic cat 500 i drowned it and it turned off , i cleaned the carburator , i changed the spark plugs . it has spark and the gas gets to it but it still wont turn on . what could the pro

You DROWNED it? Meaning you ran it into water so deep that it killed the motor? Chances are very good that you've done some very serious damage to that engine. Water doesn't compress, so you may have destroyed a piston or cracked the head.

Additionally, water - particularly if that water wasn't exceptionally clean (like distilled water) - will have done anything electronic no good at all, and chances are excellent that it's gotten into every gearbox on the machine.

Last and least, it may have gotten into your fuel tank. At least THAT's easy to drain & refill & add Heet to.

Arctic cat atv problems

Try checking valve clearance. I had a Honda that did same thing, Set the valves and would start right up when cold.
