Got a 1996 polaris xplorer 4x4 .wont start, fan and oil light is on,we mix gas in the tank, oil jug empty, could this be why oil jug empty.

if it has a oil light on and the oil reservoir is empty , the it would be reasonable assumption that unless there is oil available to mix with the fuel , it will not be allowed to start
It is a 2 stroke that has a metered amount of oil that varies according to engine rpms and is not a pre-mix situation that you have assumed it to be
so fill the oil tank with the correct 2 stroke oil, remove the oil mix fuel and save it for a whipper snipper or other small engine , fill the tank with the correct fuel and it will most likely start

Where is the dipstick

OOHHH you made that too easy....
If there is not one on the oil fill plug, there should be a (hex headed?) screw below the fill hole somewhere... remove it and oil should flow/trickle out. To be sure, once you have checked this, jack up the side with the screw, let the oil flow to the other side, then remove it again and NO oil should flow out!

2012 Polaris Phoenix 200 Air box keeps filling up with oil. Any ideas on how to correct problem ?

labyrinth plate in the valve cover is the culprit , you need to get a new one from polaris and have it installed , unless you can do it . The valve cover needs to be taken off the cylinder head. , the labyrinth plate it's a different design from origanal design and stops the oil from filling up your air box.

Gas in oil pan

sounds like the float in the carburetor or needle valve is failing and gas fills up the bowl, rides down the cylinder and into the oil pan.
Do you notice gas pouring out into the air cleaner?
