I have a 2002 suzuki ozark 250. When I start it and put it in gear and lift up the back end the tired will move. But when I get on it it won't go. Some people is saying it's the axle because it moves back and forth when it shouldn't. But I don't know what to do.

2007 Suzuki 250 quad battery is dead doesn't have kick start. Had it on trickle charger for four days still dead. Can I use a jump starter on it if not what are the recommended battery replacement

Hey Michele,, if the original battery lasted this long.. you are lucky,, just replace it. >>> Always use the exact replacement battery<<<<... your quad is designed to take the exact size and amperage rating,, trying to change this is inviting too much trouble,, When you get a new battery,, it will be charged unless you purchase one online that comes with the acid pack,, EITHER WAY - put the battery on the trickle charger for 48 - 72 hours BEFORE you use it.. This will extend the life of the battery a bunch and make it a stronger battery,, ..(this is from too many years of experience.)

I have a 2002 suzuki ozark 250 2x4 that is very hard to up shift.

Hey Barry, has the quad been flipped onto the left side,? Sounds like you may have a bent shift shaft...one other possibility is the shifter needs adjusting (some newer engines do not have adjustments). I am guessing it is easy to down shift? If the shift shaft is bent.. be careful , you can easily crack the engine case!!

I have a 2002 suzuki ozark. When I start it up and put it in gear and lift up the back end and give it gas the tires will move. But once I get on it and set down it won't go. Some people say it's the axle...

I recommend a repair manual from filepeep.com if they have it, or MFG website, or manualslib.com
You will learn a lot about your vehicle, and have it the next time you need it.

2 separate issues. could be a fuse, corrosion on terminals, or pinched wire somewhere. inspect carefully. adjust brakes in on rear.

What would cause my 2008 suzuki ozark 250 atv to jump into neutral then not shift

Sounds like you have either a busted shifter fork. Or the pin in the gear selector has broken off or the bolt as come loose in the center of it and the pin has fallen out. If it's the shifter fork it's an expensive teardown. If it's the gear selector it should be an easy fix. Look at the selector gear first but when you pull the side of the engine be careful not to lose any parts.
