That's a possibility. Disconnect the fuel intake hose near the intake manifold, switch the ignition On, if no fuel comes out of the hose, then you have a faulty fuel pump.
not familiar to your set up but as with any system encluding motor cycle. Get a hose and syphone all that you can out and fill with the proper gas. Start it up...it might be a little harder to start but once you get it started it will clear. I once had a guy fill my car with diesel...supposedly gas and I drove the car a long way then kept stopping up with gas. worked fine....sure did clean the engine.
Track down the fuel line to the fuel pump and check the wiring there. You should have good power to the pump, and you should have a good electrical ground. If you have both but the pump isn't pumping, and the tank has plenty of good fresh gas and the gas petcock is turned on, then the fuel pump needs replacing.
First is the engine Diesel or Gas?
if it is a diesel engine it has almost got to be a compression or fuel problem if it is a Gas engine it can be a valve adjustment, fuel, compression, or spark problem
Unplug the fuel pump should be 2 wires coming off it find a way to direct connect it to a live power source if it turns on its good and you have a bad fuel pump relay if it doesn't turn on then you pump is bad
