How do I find the fuel adjustment on a2003 arctic cat 500 4x4 standard shift

If you can't fire it up at all, it will be impossible to adjust the mixture. If you try to crank it up and smell fuel lean it down... wait and hour and try to crank it up again. Remember, the automatic choke with make it rich when starting and lean it down as it heats up. Always adjust an idling engine a bit on the lean side and it shouldn't flood when starting. Carburetor problems are common in ATVs. If you can't get it to start at all using trial and error, then rebuild the carb and check your float suspension distance (length of travel)... careful when bending the metal arm as they can become detached and you'll need a new one! (Most ATVs use the same carbs... Kawasaki's web site provides detailed schematics on many models of carbs.)

How to time an engine in a Bobcat 3400 xl (gas)

Take the spark plug(s) out and bring the top of a piston all the way up to Top Dead Center (TDC) using a pencil, eraser inwards to feel the piston top come up to its maximum travel. The timing chain needs to be aligned to the triangle mark indicator to match the piston position. Then adjust the timing advance according to the mfr's specs.

How do i adjust my clutch on a kawasaki bayou 220

Maybe time for a clutch rebuild. Loosen nut on right cover, hold in place, run screwdriver slotted bolt in until it seats then back it out 1/2 turn, hold screw in place and tighten the nut!

IF you are very accomplished mechanically, you can do this. Buy a factory service manual. Read it, read it again...then determine if you are able... if you drop it while it is separated... dealership time!!
