While riding my 2004 Suzuki eiger 400 i heard a loud pop and now thers no power to the fuse box ,the fuses are good and the battery is new and good .no lights no ignition power ,however i did find power to the voltage regulater.im trying to figure out why it wont start .

With the info you have provided, it seems to point to the ignition switch as the problem. (the clicking you should hear comes from the solenoid contacts - not the starter button). There is probably one wire in the switch that has broken or come unsoldered or other wise not making the right connection.

-Battery has power...? But the line connect from battery to light
doesn't have power on the end that connect to the light...?
-If so the line is totally burn (Inside wire). Replace with new one.

I'd check the key switch first. then disconnect the rectifier just to rule out that and the stator. hopefully the cdi didnt blow up. with a loud pop you'd think you'd see some damage to whatever caused it.

its bent, stripped or broke the gears inside. not an easy repair.

you may have jumped timing and bent a valve

sounds like piston rings, if rings are in bad shape,will be at its worst when cold then will get better when it warms up. Should be some power loss as well. pretty easy rebuild. good luck

Make sure you didn't accidentally move the Run/Stop switch to the Stop position!
