I have a 1989 Polaris Scrambler 400 4x4 with 22x11-10 itp mud Lite on the back of it is it ok to put 23x8-10 on the front of it because it should have bigger tires on the front stock

Technically yes you can, HOWEVER!! The 23x8's are taller, thinner tyres so they might affect your speedo reading and handling if they are not a standard Polaris size. The front end will also ride a tiny bit higher than the rear end. If you haven't got the original handbook try contacting Polaris directly or a dealer with your vehicles details and ask them what sizes are recommended for your ATV.
ATV tyre sizes translate as follows... a 23x8-10 tyre will be-
= 23 inches in diameter measured all the way across the widest part of the whole tyre.
= 8 inches across the width of the tread of the tyre.
= 10 inch diameter of the actual wheel rim.
22x11-10 is 22 inches tall, 11 inches wide on a 10 inch rim.
23x8-10 is 23 inches tall, 8 inches wide on a 10 inch rim.

1999 Yamaha Kodiak steering is all over the place. I notice it more on a paved road. What could be the issue?

replace tire should fix it and dont ride on paved road . tires are not rated for paved roads.tie rod ends , wheel bearings loose or bad , control arms . raise front end and look under atv wear if bad enough will b seen. shake each tire and have helper look under at same time to locate the problem. if one side bad replace both sides to prevent more trouble later on. always support both sides w/jack stands before looking under atv. be safe when shaking atv while on jack stands.

Kodiak 450 won't go into 4 wheel drive

cdi i doubt its bad. raise front end and try engaging . turn wheels both at same time. servo motor weak and wont shift with weight on front end . servo is magnetic shifter and engages a gear on shaft when power is applied to it. had this trouble on several of these models. try it also check lubrication level and clean grease if milky at all. water is in grease if milky dont drive it w/milk color it WILL cause damage if left in that condition.

4 wheel drive locks in one side one side will not some times makes a sound to if 2 sides are in

Model? If you put it in regular 4WD it will usually only spin one tire. If you have diff lock and use it, it locks both front wheels but can be hard on front end parts. The front end will do some clanking and popping because it doesn\'t really like diff lock.

MY HONDA FOURTRAX WAS VERY LOW ON REAR END OIL AND

I purchased a 2000 Honda Foreman 4x4 and changed all fluids. I put synthetic differential oil in the front and rear differentials.
The problem I am have after about 6 months is the front wheels are not pulling like they use to.
Before I changed the fluids with the front wheels jacked up I could not turn the front wheels but now with very little effort I can turn the front wheels.
Did I make a mistake in using the synthetic oil and if so what is my recourse?
