Try replacing the drive belt. It should be replaced every 200 hours. Im guessing it is the original and is completely worn out.

Can gas or water get in oil if four wheeler sits on end for a hour?

Being a 2012, I am sure it is fuel injected and not carbureted, so I am sure that there would be no fuel in there. I truly doubt that oil would be in there unless this crash was violent enough to crack a block or head. If it were mine, I would check the oil level, if good, start it and run to operating temperature. Then turn it off and let cool to cold, check oil level, as well as check coolant. If the coolant looks lime green(if it uses green coolant) and not chocolate milkshake brown, I would say you are good to go!

Is there a way to do away with the brake switches so I can start the atv just by key and start button?

just join the wires on the brake switch together

However the brake switch is a safety switch and is a legal requirement for the vehicle

you will be held legally responsible for an accident and could be charged in the event of a death from that modification

far cheaper just to fix the switch

Why are right side brake pads different than left?

Because the caliper closest to the master cylinder gets the most pressure, so the parts are different to balance the stopping force so the brakes don't pull to one side or the other.

My display has the wrench icon and the time icon and it says "OFF" on the display on the dash. What does this mean? and how do i get it off?

Programmable service interval
The purpose of the programmable service interval is to provide the consumer and dealer with a convenient reminder for routine maintenance. When your vehicle leaves the factory, this feature is set at 50 hours. You must enable the programmable service interval before it
can be used.
Once the service interval mode is set with the hours when service is due, the hours of actual engine operation are subtracted from the set
hours until 0 is reached. When the counter reaches 0, the wrench icon will flash quickly for 5 seconds each time the vehicle is started as a reminder that the periodic maintenance is due.
To set the hours, press and hold the mode/override button until the wrench icon flashes. When it begins to flash, release the button. The setting will increase by one hour each time the button is pressed.
Pressing and holding the button will allow the numbers to escalate much faster. When the desired time increment is displayed, release the button and wait for the wrench to stop flashing. When the wrench stops blinking, your service hours are set.
NOTE: If you scroll past the intended number, hold the button down until the count turns over to 0. You can then reset the number.
If the service interval is enabled on your ATV and you wish to turn it off, toggle to the service interval mode. Press and hold the mode button for approximately 7 seconds until the word OFF appears in the
Rider Information Center.

New ATV. Ran 1 hour. Sitting for 6 months. Changed gas - but is popping back through carb

sounds like the gas that was left in the carb. has turned bad and clogged the jets. the only right way to fix it is to pull the carb off the bike and take the bottom bowl off. once done you can take some carb. cleaner and spray out all the jets and crevices inside the carb. hopefully this fixes your problem. if not then you will need to pull the carb. completely apart and give it a good soaking. once you have soaked it for an hour or so take some compressed air and blow out any holes. be sure to blow it out good. once done put the carb. back together and give it a shot. this should fix it right up for ya.
