I replaced a rear inner u-joint on a 1998 500 sportsman, now i have a rear end wobble going down the road, but everything looks fine.

if there is a sliding spline in the shaft that allows for variation in axle length over rough terrain, I would think that you pulled that slip jpint apart to fix the joint and just stuck it back together without checking the phasing of the two joints
when the cross of one joint is vertical /horizontal the the cross of the other joint has to be the same or a problem comes as each loint is fighting the other in the rotation through the 90 degrees of operation
that will create a wobble between the rear tires

My guess is someone put the wrong fluid in it. It probably needs to be rebuilt.

I just put new clutches in 85 honda 250 four trax y are thay steeel sliping

Sometimes you need to adjust your clutch cable. as the disks wear out you have to tighten it to get it to disengage. if the cable is adjusted too tight then it will slip because it is not taking all the pressure off the disks so they can fully grab. That is where i would start

I have a honda rancher 420 ES 4x4 with a jumping transmition

Oh Dude, this isn't an easy fix. It sounds like your shift pawls could be bent, it also could be that the shift shaft that the pawls slide on is bent, worst case, there is some transmission gear engagement teeth that are damaged.

Need to replace hub on 2009 polaris 850 xp. Just replaced ball joints and knuckle now need to put hub back on. Does it have to be forced on?

The hub should slide onto a splined shaft. if you lubricate the spline it should slip on fairly easily. hope this helps
