Yes but I would also suspect the carbs we not cleaned fully. main jets and emulsion tubes as well as the idle air circuit... these all are important for proper operation. you will need to pull the idle mixture screws out as well.... if they are plugged from the factory you need to drill into them and use an easy out to remove them

I bought a 73 arctic cat jag 3000, was running great, now it doesn't want to stay running for more than a minute. It looks to me like its not getting enough fuel through the fuel pump to the carbs

You may have a clogged filter sock in the fuel tank pickup, pull the fuel tank and make sure there isn't gunk or dirt in it. If there is you will need to rebuild the carbs.

I have a 2005 Arctic Cat 500 that will crank and run great. Push the throttle acts starving for gas. I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel line, and cleaned the tank. Also replaced carb. NEED HELP!

Try running it with the cap off the tank. Sometimes the cap will fail and wont allow air back into the tank when you draw fuel from it. This starves the engine of fuel.
