As mishaps go...
This is way BETTER than having to re-grow your eyebrows!
Even a USABLE picture (cell phone... not that selfie) before you started would HAVE BEEN
helpful. An excellent key learning to take away from this experience.
This area on ATVs is a popular place to DISTRIBUTE power... So popular, as a matter of fact, my guess is you can't even KEY start
your un-identified (make, model, year, color or country of origin)... yes/no?
Since the "other" big
wire terminal goes directly to the starter... that isn't it...
The little (small gauge) terminal to ACTIVATE the solenoid comes from the ignition switch ("S" lead) is cold as a cucumber
That's not it either...
So put all those loose wires go on the HOT LEAD from the battery...
"Tag my wires"... indeed...
(and then watch fire and smoke
(I'm just saying)...!!
You can avoid serious burns and wasted (EMERGENCY ROOM
) time by disconnecting the GROUND terminal BEFORE you start... and put it back when everything has been completed.
Lotsa luck sparky!
