On my 1996 Polaris Xplorer, I recently changed head gasket and that was when it started building presure in the radiator. Could I have the head gasket installed wrong?

My 2014 600 switchback won't idle down past 4000 rpms it still runs but not like it should

Have you had the valves adjusted recently? If so.. the intake valves are way too tight..... if not, you may have a gasket leak in the intake tract somewhere... even a head or base gasket could be the culprit...

I got a 1996 polaris xplorer 300 4x4 2 stroke. bike shutt off wouldnt start.some how fuel got in to the head .drained fuel out, have good comprestion still what do i do next

fuel can get into the head because the needle and seat if the carby is stuck open
the mixture ( in this fuel) is sucked into the crankcase during the up stroke of the piston then bypassed into the combustion chamber when the piston reaches a point on the down stroke
ONe fix is to shut of the fuel , fix the carby open the throttle wide , remove the plug and spin the engine over to remove all the fuel out of the crankcase
IT is effect very flooded now

We have a 2011 Polaris RZR 800. It overheated this weekend and was spewing antifreeze and water out. Fan was running

if You are clogged with dirt the radiator and the temperature sensor is OK . You have to open the radiator cap and start the engine in a heated condition if of antifreeze go small bubbles , then you need to replace the gasket under the cylinder head

Have a 2011 polaris 6x6 800 that overheats every time I use it. The coolant will come out the over flow.

The most common causes of a water cooled engine overheating are (1) poor circulation of cooling fluid (bad water pump or stopped up radiator); or (2) inadequate air flow cooling (bad cooling fan); or (3) compression gases entering the cooling system (leaking head gasket or cracked block or head). The first check is to see if air is in the cooling fluid (small bubbles appearing in top of radiator or coolant reserve tank). If so, then #3 is the problem. The second check is to see if the cooling fan (s) is running properly (can feel air flow on output side?). If not check wiring and/or replace fan (#2). The last step is to drain the radiator and engine (turn over engine to allow water pump to empty the block). If additional cooling fluid does not drain out the radiator drain port, the water pump is defective. If the water pump does empty the block, then flush the system with a good flushing agent. Follow instructions on flushing agent bottle. Drain out the flushing agent and re-fill radiator and block with clear water. Run engine as per instructions on flush agent bottle. Drain system again and re-fill with antifreeze (50%) and water (50%). If vehicle is located in a very cold climate, then increase the antifreeze % up to 75% (25% water). Remember, not only does antifreeze help to keep water from freezing, but it also helps to increase cooling ability.
