Remove battery terminals and clean both posts and terminals
with sandpaper until you see shiny metal. The black coating is lead sulphate which has a high resistance to current flow both into and out of the battery. Charge the battery as not all batteries are charged sufficiently when new to do the job. Also not all new batteries are good batteries as they suffer manufacturing faults which allow them to discharge internally. some batteries are sold without the acid so check that is not the case.. Check all terminal connections including any earth wires.

I used the battery on another quad and it worked fine. But still the same with other quad. You think it's the wiring?

SOURCE: i have a 2004 big

NEVER run it without the battery being attached!
Doing that risks voltage spikes that can blow out every single diode in the entire system.
If you had not done that, I would have just suggested perhaps it had a bad ballast resistor on the ignition coil or something.
But now I would have to recommend that all the charging circuit diodes be check with an ohmmeter. They should only have continuity in one direction.
Then you need to put a voltmeter across the battery and see if it holds up when cranking. If not, then either the starter is bad and drawing too much, or the new battery is no longer any good. It only takes a couple of hours to ruin a new battery if there is a bad enough drain on it. If the diodes are shot, the battery will drain even when just sitting while off, as long as connected.

2003 Suzuki eiger starter button doesn't do anything

Hey Brad
With the info you have provided, it seems to point to the ignition switch as the problem. (the clicking you should hear comes from the solenoid contacts - not the starter button). There is probably one wire in the switch that has broken or come unsoldered or other wise not making the right connection.

If battery has good charge on it, I would suspect either starter selonoid or starter itself. With it in neutral and key on, try taking a jumper wire from hot side of battery directly to starter. if starter turns over I would replace selonoid.

Will not turn over. replaced solenoid and battery is new. Lights, and power OK. Too weak to pull cord to manually start.

You need to try and find someone to try the manual start, just to rule out anything past the auto switch such as starter. If battery is new and solenoid is new then it's probably either the switch or could even be a fuse in the link.

When I turn key on and kill switch is deactivated no electrics on dash electric start will not work.

Take your battery to O'Reilly's or AutoZone and have the CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) checked..(load test).. this WILL tell you if your battery is good or not.
Just because you have 12 VOLTS doesn't mean it's A GOOD BATTERY..You MUST have amperage to start/run your ATV

Won't crank

if battery is good, check to see if you have voltage at solenoid. if you do, turn key to start, that should throw the fire from other side of solenoid to starter. if there is no fire on the other side of solenoid when you turn the key, then your solenoid is most likely bad.
