Question about Polaris ATV
I pulled my 09 polaris 850xp quad into the garage to change tierods and the rear bearings and bushings. after completion, I went to fire it up and nothing. lights come on, instrument cluster lights up but wont start or even turn over. I'm holding the left break because you have to in order for it turn over and still nothing.
You nee to locate the battery wire on the starter then with a test light or meter put the probe on the post of the starter and it the start button, you should have 12 v at that point if so replace the starter, if not the check the solenoid

The battery is not charging up. Use a volt meter. Check the battery (12volts) and the charging system. With engine running and rev'd (14 volts).
