First verify spark. This is done as easily as spraying a bit of ether(starting fluid) into the carb and then try starting it.If it does not fire (or want to start) then your problems are elsewhere.Otherwise your float may be stuck leaving your needle valve(which controls the fuel flow into the carb.) in the closed position.Sometimes just a light tap on the bottom side of the carb is all you need.Otherwise you will have to remove and dissassemble the carb to search for other issues.if the carb has a drain plug on the bottom of the float bowl try removing it to check if ther is any fresh fuel present. This will help verify the stuck float scenario. If the machine has been sitting for a long time prior to this starting attempt you may have to clean and possibly rebuild your carb due to old fuel deposits gumming up the various ports and passages therin.

The problem sounds like your speedometer. I just fixed mine with the following solution.
Pull the 6 pin plug from your speedometer, On the plug, short the brown wire with the Brown/White wire. Tape it up and do not place back on your speedometer.
Your speedometer will not work but your AWD will.
Let me know if this helps

Testimonial: "Yes it worked got to go fishing thanks have a great Day !!!"
SOURCE: 4x4 wont engauge
this may just be an adjustment in the magnetic coil inside the hub. it is very complicated and precise. i would recommend having a polaris mechanic do it or atleast purchasing a service manual. they are generally $50
